B2B Sales Manager

Location: Ottawa, On, Canada

Type: Full Time

We are looking for a successful business to business sales manager to join our team and be part of an organization that is changing the Ottawa area sports and entertainment landscape.

The perfect person will:

Lead a highly motivated B2B sales team through the sale of premium seats, corporate properties, season seats and group ticket packages for all three sports teams.

Along with the sales group, initiate aggressive outbound activity, establish working relationships and drive revenue with:

  • Businesses and Corporations
  • Former customers
  • Existing customers
  • Manage a small book of strategic accounts relating to their assigned industry or group of industries.
  • Staff Management;
    • Recruit, hire, train, and retain staff
    • Establish and communicate clear sales revenue & training goals.
    • Provide appropriate feedback and direction for development opportunities.
  • Work with the Director, Ticket Sales and Service to develop, present and communicate B2B sales strategies, procedures and processes.
  • Go above and beyond by building relationships and ensuring that each customer receives the value they expect from OSEG.
  • Represent the three teams at local business events.
  • Network and be involved with a number of business associations.
  • Record all activity and sales pipeline details in the CRM system.
  • Participate and contribute to sales team meetings and training sessions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What’s Needed ?:

  • Post-Secondary degree preferred – strong preference for business focus 
  • 5+ years of outside B2B sales experience
  • 2+ years of management experience
  • Ability to build and execute on strategic sales plan for an assigned industry or group of industries
  • Off the charts desire to start a career in sports and in sales
  • Ability to have a positive mindset and jump in on a ‘one team one vision’ culture
  • Self-starter with ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities
  • Able to work different hours (nights, weekends, holidays)
  • Bilingualism is an asset
